Jerry’s resume includes speaker, corporate educator, life coach and author of six result oriented books. Fortune 100 companies, schools and churches have used his books and presentations for talent development.

He has an inspirational message that will motivate writers to accomplish their writing goals followed by an introduction to Joyful Life Publishing.

Dianne Lambert will address SCW at the March meeting with a message on “The Joy of Writing.”  We also have commitments from the following speakers who have not confirmed dates yet.  Dr. John Jeffries from Published by Parables will share options for publishing including a free offer. Mimi Knight a successful freelance writer published in more magazines than there is space to list, and award-winning author Pamela Ewen has agreed to share tips on writing nonfiction. Speakers are subject to change.

New in 2019, the critique sessions are now monthly. The board approved adding a critique session on months we have a speaker. This is a trial run that will become permanent if there is sufficient interest. The first meeting is Tuesday, January 29, 2019  at 7 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, 5049 Ehret Road, Marrero 70072.  Submitting  writing in advance is no longer required. Bring two pages or fewer, one inch boarder, Times New Roman Font Size 12, and double spaced. Your submission will be read and discussed.

I will continue to critique the writing of members who have paid the annual membership fee privately if they do not wish to be critiqued in an open forum.
