An excerpt from actress and screenwriter Veleka Gray’s address to the Southern Christian Writers Guild. Veleka starred in various soap operas throughout the 70’s and 80’s including Love is a Many Splendored Thing, Somerset, As the World Turns and The Young and the Restless. She currently works as an acting coach and screenwriter.
