Ps 34: 15-16 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.
How do you want to be remembered? What is your legacy? There is a saying “it doesn’t matter what year you are born or when you die it’s all about the dash in the middle.” I have always wondered why God allows so much evil and bad things to happen. I know it started with the disobedience of Adam and Eve but that has nothing to do with me, right. Wrong, it all goes back to the choices we make. Even when we choose good over evil, bad things still happen. Why? The way I understand it, if there was no evil in the world how will we see just how good, good can be. God sees everything we do and hears everything we say; therefore, I need to do what is right so that not only God but also people I associate with think of me favorably.
The Lord turns his face away from people who do evil and he makes the world forget them. Don’t let your life and memory be erased. I definitely don’t want that. I want people to remember me as a Christian woman who left a positive influence on everyone I met, always striving to make our world a better place. I want my grave marker to read, “She had a good dash.”

Nice thought. For some reason I can’t like it. Let her know I liked it.
