Writing to Honor God
Southern Christian Writers Guild met on the north shore of New Orleans for more than a decade when the door opened to start a writers’ meeting on the west bank of New Orleans in the Gospel Bookstore, Westside Shopping center, 91 Westbank Expressway, Gretna LA 70053.
SCW meets the third Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m. January – October and takes a holiday break in November and December.
We hold meetings in the Gospel Bookstore with a hybrid format. Writers can come to the store or join the meeting via ZOOM. The link to join the meeting on Zoom is in the SCW newsletter released one week before the meeting. Subscribe to the SCW newsletter to receive access to the Zoom meetings or email teena@scwguild.com to request the link.

Yes, we have out of state members. You are welcome to join, and you asked at a good time. The Westbank Guild is offering free membership to everyone who joins until December 30, 2018. All you have to do is email me scwg@cox.net a headshot, bio and sample of your writing if you would like to blog on the Guild website. I look forward to learning more about you.
