Marlaine Peachey is the Chairman of Southern Christian Writers Guild and a charter member. She is an author and editor and has written numerous magazine articles for The Louisiana Municipal Review, Living Magazine, Sophisticated Woman and Inside Northside. She was the former Special Sections Editor for the St. Tammany News. Marlaine is also an inspirational and motivational speaker and a speaker trainer for Christian Women Connections in Louisiana. She currently serves as Executive Assistant to the Mayor of Mandeville. Marlaine is a Certified Municipal Assistant and is current Past President of the Louisiana Association of Municipal Secretaries and Assistants. She attended Loyola University and is a graduate of Leadership St. Tammany West.
Teena L Myers is the author of two books and several short stories. Her short story, “Elohiym’s Words”, was a best seller on Amazon Shorts before Amazon abandoned the program. She is a freelance writer, editor of NOLA.com’s Faith, Beliefs and Spirituality blog, Toastmaster CC and area contest winner, Stonecroft Ministry approved speaker, certified Belief Therapist, credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God and member of Northshore Literary Society. Teena worked in Children’s Church, Christian Television and taught Sunday School before she found her niche in writing. She lives on the west bank of New Orleans with her husband who has ministered to children for thirty years.
For over 10 years, Jamie Trisler has been writing a weekly expository Bible study for a multigenerational women’s class that she teaches. She also writes reflections on personal experiences that bring spiritual truths and applications to her life and shares them with others. She contributed her personal testimony, “The Mercy of the Trumpet” to the book “Echoes of Mercy,” and her personal story “Devastating Diagnosis with Blessings” appears on the Sacred Story Ministries website, Jamie’s writing desire is to encourage others to say “Yes to God’s Word” and live lives pleasing to the Lord. She lives in Gonzales, Louisiana; has been married to her husband for over thirty years; and they have one daughter.
