WRITING TO HONOR GOD
Teena is the author of three books and several short stories. Her short story, “Elohiym’s Words”, was a best seller on Amazon Shorts before Amazon abandoned the program. She is a freelance writer, editor of NOLA.com’s Faith, Beliefs and Spirituality blog, Toastmaster CC and area contest winner, Stonecroft Ministry approved speaker, certified Belief Therapist, credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God and member of Northshore Literary Society. Teena worked in Children’s Church, Christian Television and taught Sunday School before she found her niche in writing. She lives on the Westbank of New Orleans with her husband who has ministered to children for thirty years.
Pastor David is the pastor of Christian Fellowship Church, 5049 Ehret Road, Marrero LA. He is married to Linda Rodriguez. They have four children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
David founded Koinonia Bible College in 1991 to provide training for ministry that is accessible and affordable. Koinonia is the Greek word for fellowship, which best describes the philosophy of the college: to strengthen the Body of Christ by utilizing each believer’s gift to the edification of all. He also serves as President of Therapon Institute. Therapon offers Biblical Counselor Certification based upon an exclusive faith-based therapeutic treatment model, Belief Therapy, not solely as an alternative to traditional treatment and recovery programs, but to help identify life-controlling problems and to process the deep spiritual recovery issues of hurting and healing people.
He writes Biblical theology, Non-Fiction, and Bible commentary. The questions asked in the book of Job is the subject of his latest manuscript.
Linda is a pastor’s wife, writer, artist, and musician. She has experience in leading writing groups and independent publishing. In addition to her full-time job in banking, she directs the worship team at Christian Fellowship Church, founded by her husband, Pastor David Rodriguez. She also teaches at Koinonia Bible College.
Roderick Myers is an educator capable of teaching all ages. He retired from Delgado Community College after twenty-five years of service but continues to work as an adjunct instructor teaching maritime classes and writing curriculum for the maritime industry. He has served the church for more than 30 years in various capacities: Children’s Pastor, Sunday School superintendent and teacher, Christian television, and evangelistic outreaches. He currently works as a Vessel Traffic Specialist with Homeland Security.
Ingrid Green Adams is a 1983 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Southern at New Orleans, LA. She retired from the Dept. of Homeland Security as an Intelligence Research Specialist in 2003. Having a passion for the written word, Ms. Adams has written the following books of inspirational poetry: OF SPIRIT AND TRUTH, AS I PONDER, OF DAYS GONE BY, FROM THE MOUTHS OF BABES, GET RIGHT OR GET LEFT, FROM WHENCE WE CAME, ONCE UPON A WORD, IN THE SWEET BY AND BYE, AS I WALK AWAY, NO TIME TO CRY, SPEAK LORD I’M LISTENING, AND TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL. She owns Green’s Consulting Company specializing in Consultation and Motivational Speaking and is available upon request as an instructor. She also teaches writing classes and is an instructor of the St. Charles Parish Public School Community Education Program.
