Teena Myers, BTh, SCW Chair
Teena worked in Children’s Church, Christian Television and taught Sunday School before she found her niche in writing. She is the author of three books: Publishing’s New Frontier, Finding Faith in the City Care Forgot, and Faith’s Mystery (released 2023).
Published short stories include Elohiym’s Words a fiction story about an angel who wavers between good and evil, and a bestseller on Amazon Shorts before Amazon abandoned the program; Burger King, a true story of friendship in the gift book series The Best Friend in the World, (Howard Books,). Something for Me, about finding love God’s way in the gift book How I Met My True Love, (Xulon Press). Her contributions to David C Cook’s Power for Living curriculum include Chain of Pearls, No Other Way, The Gift and Unashamed Love.
Her family moved to New Orleans in 1970 where she met her husband, Rod, who works as a Vessel Traffic Specialist for Homeland Security and teaches maritime classes at Delgado College. They have two sons and four grandchildren.
Pastor David Rodriguez
David and his wife Linda pastor Christian Fellowship Church. He founded Koinonia Bible College in 1991 to provide training for ministry that is accessible and affordable. He also serves as President of Therapon Institute. He writes Biblical theology, Non-Fiction, and Bible commentary. They have four children, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
William Roper, Manager, Gospel Bookstore
William has served the Christian Community for over forty years in Christian retail. His family established the bookstore in the 1970s to do more than sell books. Anyone can walk in the store to receive prayer and encouragement from the staff. The original purpose of the store to sell books evolved with the times to become a place to shop for all things Christian. They are located in the Westside Shopping Center, 91 Westbank Expressway, Gretna LA.
Linda Rodriguez
Linda is a pastor’s wife, writer, artist, and musician. She has experience in leading writing groups and independent publishing. In addition to her full-time job in banking, she directs the worship team at Christian Fellowship Church, founded by her husband, Pastor David Rodriguez. She also teaches at Koinonia Bible College.
Roderick Myers
Rod is an educator capable of teaching all ages. He retired from Delgado Community College after twenty-five years of service but continues to work as an adjunct instructor, teaching maritime classes and writing curriculum for the maritime industry. He has served the church for over thirty years in various capacities: Children’s Pastor, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, Christian television, and evangelistic outreaches. He is a Vessel Traffic Specialist with Homeland Security.
Ingrid Green Adams
Ingrid is a 1983 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Southern University, New Orleans, LA. She retired from the Department of Homeland Security as an Intelligence Research Specialist in 2003. Having a passion for the written word, Ms. Adams has published over 20 books of inspirational poetry. She owns Green’s Consulting Company, specializing in consultation and motivational speaking. She also teaches writing classes and is an instructor of the St. Charles Parish Public School Community Education Program.
