Mavis McCall


Mavis McCall plans to rewrite her fiction book When a Mother Weeps into a non-fiction book to help mothers who have lost children to street violence.

Mavis is a native of the Westbank of New Orleans. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. She has also been involved in church ministry, which included counseling young girls living in a Christian Maternity Home and speaking engagements with women and children at church conferences and seminars. She is currently preparing a study for teenagers on the consequences of sin and disobedience.
