You need to assess what you can commit to writing and publishing poetry.
Here’s an example of a possible check list:
TIME: How much are you willing to invest per day? Per week? Completing a goal or task to write usually works better when you establish some consistency in the amount of time you decide to dedicate to writing on a regular basis. This varies from person to person so don’t get anxious or stressed out if others spend more time writing than you do, just remember to work at your own pace.
MONEY: How much are you willing to spend? This is a personal decision which is usually based on your personal income and the financial resources available to you.
The amount or limits you set should be something well thought out by you and it should be a rational and realistic amount that works within your financial situation.
EFFORT: The ability to undertake the stages of writing and publishing poetry such as the publicity, advertising, sales, etc. How passionate are you about promoting your work? This will probably determine how much time, energy and resources you extend to support your work.
There’s so many things to consider and it’s totally all up to you.
Why not get started today?
