Renecia is an avid reader, the podcast host of Refined by the Fires, a graphic designer, a living miracle, a generational curse breaker, and a t-shirt evangelist.
She became a t-shirt evangelist after reading Change Your Shirt, Change Your World by Vic Kennett. The average t-shirt is read on average 3,000 times in its lifetime, which is an amazing outreach, considering something as simple as a t-shirt. She felt God’s calling to be a light to guide others to Him by designing and selling Christian t-shirts.
She became a living miracle when she survived a rare and unknown birth defect, which caused a “brain stroke,” otherwise known as an Arteriovenous Malformation/AVM.
He life experiences taught Renecia that GOD uses everything in our lives to bring us into his perfect will. He sees our entire life from beginning to end and “doesn’t waste a thing, much like a big pot of a good “seafood gumbo !!!!”
Renecia is married to Alex, the love of her life who played a huge part in saving my life. He is a light sleeper who heard me gurgling on the opposite side of the bed while our seven-day old daughter ZM laid between us sound asleep. Talk about GOD using everything!
They have three other children, two daughters and a son who now are adults with children of their own which also happens to make me a proud Ya-Ya of six, two boys and four girls. Ya-Ya is the name for grandmother in Greek, as I wanted something loving and playful like my childhood nickname, Re-Re!
