Cannon, Anne
Anne Burnham Cannon, the youngest of eight children, grew up in New Orleans wrapped in the strength of a mother whose unwavering devotion to God shaped the family’s legacy of faith. That foundation continues to guide Anne’s life and creative calling.
Still rooted in the New Orleans area where she was born and raised, Anne enjoys a full and joyful life with her husband, their four children, beloved daughters‑in‑law, a precious grandbaby, and a spirited dachshund. When she isn’t surrounded by family, she can often be found exercising, designing, writing, or sharing laughter with friends.
Anne has been writing inspirational poetry since 2000. What began as private conversations with God—captured faithfully in her journals—has blossomed into poems that have been gifted, spoken publicly, displayed as wall art, and printed on gift cards. After years of encouragement from loved ones, she gathered her work into her first book, Reflections.
Her desire is simple and sincere: that the words God has given her will bless every reader. She invites you to let His voice come alive in your heart as you journey with Him. “God is always there for you, so take time to talk and pray with Him,” she says. “My book is an example of how important it is to have a relationship with God. God can be your everything, and can help you throughout your life.”
