Jesus is driving, this too will pass,
He knows where he’s going and knows what’s next
He is in control when your life seems collapsed,
You’re headed down a long road, a the end, you’ll laugh!
Think about all the places you’ve gone thru,
Remember, it felt so promising to you.
Seemed just what you really wanted.
But, time and time again, you were disappointed.
Jesus is standing and waiting still,
He knows everything and sees all your tears,
Not one is lost, he catches them year after year,
Now, what? Keep on praying and giving God all your worries,
You went to Jesus in the past,
Told him only he could give you what you asked,
But then you lost what you had and that was confusing,
What about how? Keep on knocking, seeking and asking,
For rescuing, hold on tight!
It’s not over, life is worth living,
Just keep following the best GPS, Jesus and believing,
It’s not over, all for nothing, the best is last,
“First is gone, turn the page, sing a new song!”
Just let it go, let it all go, kneel to Jesus,
You win on your knees, talking to your Father,
Jesus is your GPS in life, there is no other,
Even a Christian sometimes needs to remember,
He’ll bring you thru the wild side of life,
He goes everywhere in the far corners of the earth,
He said, “It is finished,” as he took his last breath,
Now, he breathes and lives and goes places thru us.
The ups and downs in this world is normal
Expected and no surprises, Jesus told us that in the Bible,
So, stretch out your wings of faith and see farther
Soar higher as the troubled waters get deeper.
Like a grain of sand is our time on earth,
Look up at the night, see the trillions of stars give birth!
Get lost in the universe reflecting God’s glory
Then go to sleep as God rocks you like a baby,
He’ll supply what you need one day at a time,
He wants you to trust him like a little child,
A child depends on you to be there in its presence
It’s satisfied just to see you and be in your presence
Close your eyes and practice God’s presence,
Be still and listen as he rocks your thoughts
He’ll keep saying over and over “I love you!”
I love you more than ever before and always together,
I promise I will never leave or forsake you,
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, never . . .
Me and you, and you and me,
Forever whatever, we’ll be together,
Thru thick and thin, no matter when,
I look at you and grin, you look at me and grin!
With the sun, moon, and stars shining forever brighter,
Together forever in Heaven . . .
I forget about everybody else when I see you grin
Let’s grin when you feel the troubles of life closing in
Just walk on the graves of water keeping your eyes on me, not Mary
I rose from the dead, so you could live
You can trust and live by faith, not fear,
God works it all out together for good thru every tear,
He’s coming soon, He’s coming soon! He’s on his way,
I’m getting closer every day, I heard Jesus say,
His words are jumping off this page and giving life today!!
