Banks, Stephanie

Stephanie Banks, LPC, LAC, NCC is a Board-Certified Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor with nearly two decades of experience helping individuals and families navigate emotional and relational challenges. She is also a Certified Belief Therapist, Certified Reunification Therapist, and Certified Domestic Violence Facilitator.

Beyond her professional calling, Stephanie finds fulfillment in writing, mentoring, and sharing moments of laughter and learning with her family. Her life and work stand as a testament to God’s faithfulness—even in seasons of brokenness—and His power to transform wounds into purpose.

Since 2005, Stephanie has worked with diverse populations—adolescents, adults, couples, and families using evidence-based interventions that promote healing, resilience, and spiritual growth. Her approach integrates clinical expertise with faith-based principles, encouraging clients to develop trust, self-awareness, and emotional literacy.

As the founder of Emotional Literacy 360 and owner of Beyond Me Family Care and Counseling, Stephanie’s mission is to encourage, edify, and empower individuals to transcend debilitating emotions, thoughts, and behaviors while fostering effective relationships with God, others, and themselves.

The Inner Workings of a Fatherless Daughter: Understanding the Emotional, Psychological, and Spiritual Journey was birthed from Stephanie’s personal reflections and professional experiences with women impacted by father absence. Through this work, she extends a compassionate invitation for daughters to confront their pain, embrace their divine identity, and pursue restoration with courage and grace.

Stephanie is the proud mother of two adult daughters and five grandchildren whom she loves dearly. She believes that relationships are essential to one’s existence and reflect the heart of human and spiritual connection.
