The first person to walk into Southern Christian Writers (SCW) debut meeting asked how to publish poetry. From that time to the present, poets attend almost every meeting. To meet the unique needs of Christian poets, SCW formed a fellowship for poets.

Ingrid Adams, SCW Board Member-At-Large and author of fourteen books of poetry, will have a poetry meeting the third Saturday of September and October, 2022 at the Gospel Bookstore, Westside Shopping Center, 91 Westbank Expressway Gretna LA 70053 at 10:30 a.m.

Next year, 2023, the poets will meet five times: February, April, June, August, October. Southern Christian Writers take a holiday break in November and December.
