I have been through a lot of things
Sone good and some bad
But the one thing that has always been near
Is my faith and sometimes it’s all I had
I just can’t live without my faith in God
It’s my guiding power
I can always depend on Him to get me through
Even in my darkest hour
Dark clouds have been around me
Encasing me with nowhere to turn
My road turns into a dead end
I’m forever on the run
But even through my bad times
God has never left me alone
That is why I believe in Him
That’s why my faith is so strong
The evil one tries to tempt me
Forever sending obstacles my way
That’s when I get on my knees
That’s when I begin to pray
My faith in God, then is what this poem is about
My faith is the one thing that I refuse to live without
