Sometimes it may be tough trying to find new ways to market your poetry. Over the years, I’ve tried many ways to make my work more appealing to readers. Here are a few ways to breathe life into your unpublished work:

Publish A Shorter Poem – You may lose your readers interest in the essence of your writing if the poem is too long and drawn out. Remember to choose your words carefully. You want to make sure your readers can relate and stay focused on your writing.

Get Critiqued – Be open to getting feedback on your writing. You may share your writing within a local support group, or you may you seek professional help.

Promote Your Poetry Through Social Media or other Platforms – The use of social media is a great marketing tool for selling your poetry. Today most people use some form of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, or Podcasts.

Get Out of Your Way – Despite the tough market don’t sell yourself short. Believe in yourself,

Believe in your work. If you are committed to your poetry, it’s worth it.

Through conversations and chats with others promote your poetry while attending social gatherings whether near and far.

What are you waiting for? After all, who can promote your poetry better than you?
