Come, Holy Spirit, you are welcome in this place
Come, Holy Spirit, grant us the glory and the grace
As we begin another year of writing in your honor, Lord
May we worship you now, yes, together on one accord
Let’s close our eyes and meditate on His goodness, you see
Strengthen our hearts and minds with your Word, Lord, let it be
Yes, for it’s you, Lord, that we long for each and every day
To love others, help others, and teach others how to pray
It’s through your writing may each one reach one today
Yes, come Holy Spirit, fill this place with what we need
Come Holy Spirit, all it takes is the faith of a mustard seed
To believe in you Lord and to then just give in and to obey
Through the words we write, hear and share today
Come, Holy Spirit, let’s open our eyes now and end this prayer
Can’t you feel the Holy Spirit? Can’t you feel it everywhere
For the prayer of the righteous availeth much, don’t you see
The Holy Spirit is present with us now, yes, don’t you agree
The Holy Spirit has been ushered in this place; let us continue on our way
Let’s honor our Heavenly Father with our writing on every third Saturday
Heavenly Father, may all we say and do be pleasing in your sight
To you we give all the glory, honor, and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ
We say…Amen
